About Living Grace

Living Grace Christian Fellowship was founded by Pastor Mike and Suzanne Scott in September 2000 along with a team of about 60 people from Simi Valley.
 
Since the beginning, Living Grace has sought to obey the Great Commandment (to love God with all of our heart, soul and strength and to love other people) and to fulfill the Great Commission by helping our friends, family and neighbors discover a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
 
At Living Grace you will discover warm and friendly people, inspiring and heartfelt worship, a practical and Christ-centered message, and quality care and programs for kids and youth.


Why We Exist-

To Obey the Great Commandment
 
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

To Fulfill the Great Commission

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

God is Worthy of Our Very Best
We believe that God deserves our very best and we strive to maintain a spirit of excellence in everything we do. (Ps. 78:72; Ecc. 10:10; Col. 3:23,24)

 Reaching Out with God's Love

We believe every person is eternally valuable to God. We are committed to building authentic relationships with unsaved friends, neighbors, co-workers and family members in order to reach them for Christ. (Matt. 25:45; 28:19,20; 2 Pet. 3:9)

 All Ministry is Done Together

We believe that doing church as a team is God's design for fruitful and effective ministry. We can always accomplish more together than we can alone. (Ecc. 4:9-12; Ps. 133:1; Eph. 4:11-16)

 Care Through Small Groups

We believe God designed us to grow together. Caring and nurturing relationships with other Christians are essential for spiritual growth and for becoming all that God wants us to be. (Acts 2:44-47; Heb. 10:24,25; Prov. 27:17)

 Everyone Has a Place to Serve

We believe every member is a minister and has been given gifts, talents and abilities by God to be used for His glory and to serve others. We are a gift-based, volunteer-driven church. (Matt. 20:26-28; 1 Cor. 12:14-20; 1 Pet. 4:10)

Love - Our highest purpose is to love God and love people

Win -  Because we love people, we seek to win our friends and neighbors to Christ

Grow -  Helping people become fully devoted followers of Christ

Send -  Reaching out to our community and world with God's love
