Children's Ministry

Graceland Kid's Church is a Christ-centered ministry of Living Grace that is committed to introducing children ages birth through elementary school to Jesus Christ and to making strong and healthy disciples for Him.

We carefully screen our volunteers through an application process that includes an interview and a background check. All our volunteers are trained and given ongoing opportunities for personal development and support. We are committed to your child's safety and take our ministry very seriously. We are devoted to Jesus Christ and we love what we do!

At our Sunday services, you can be sure that there is a place for your child to receive age appropriate care and teaching. Teacher to child ratios maintain the safety of your child. The check in and check out procedures are quick and easy. The curriculum is both fun and challenging as we dive deep into God's Word. We look forward to serving your family!

Nursery: Birth-36 months

Adventurers: 1st-5th grade

Nursery

"Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me." Mark 9:37

The nursery is an intimate setting where children ages birth through 36 months receive individual attention in a loving way. We provide a safe environment so you can rest assured that your little one will thrive while in our care. Our friendly volunteers will show your child God's tender love for them. The check in process is quick and easy. You receive a number at check in for your child. This number appears on the screen in the main sanctuary so you can be alerted right away if your child needs your attention. When you return to check out your child, you can be confident that they were diapered and fed; loved and adored. We strive to partner with you to make your child comfortable while with us so they will want to come back again next time.

Explorers

At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children." Matthew 11:25

The preschool-Kindergarten class is bursting with lots of energetic and happy kids! Our classroom time includes fun activities, a Bible centered story time, and a healthy snack. We believe that at this age, kids are already able to learn key truths from God's Word and to apply it to their life as they explore the wonderful world God has made. We reinforce this in every activity and in every situation while they are in our care. Check in and check out is fast and efficient. You receive a number for your child that will appear on the screen in the main sanctuary if we need to alert you for any reason. You can be confident that your child will have a fun time while in our care. When you return to check out your child they will have lots to tell you about what they learned and will want to come back again next time.

Adventurers

Our 1st through 5th graders can start seeking after God for themselves. It is for this reason that our class times provide uniques opportunities for these kids to do just that. They are on a great adventure to capture the heart of God for themselves! We dive deep into God's Word together in large and small group settings. We worship together, pray together, play together and grow together! There are lots of exciting things happening each week. These kids are going to want to
invite a friend next time to come share the adventure with them. As parents, you will see your child growing in the wisdom and knowledge of God. Be prepared to have some great follow up discussions in the car on the way home. They just might amaze you!
